Saturday March 29th....wake up at two and I am ready to go....we didnt' have to leave until three am when our daughter was coming but I was to excited....so I was up making coffee at two thirty.....
We took off from portland Jetport and all goes well with the security and we were up in the air on time at Six am.....we land at Orlando at six past eleven after a short stop in NY Laguardia airport.....down at the end of the excalator waiting for us was ANDY from Florida Tour Limo Service.....It was so nice to see a smiling face and he was so pleasant.....he took us to Port Orleans French Quarter and on the way told us about some of the local places that we were seeing on our drive......he was so nice.....

We asked for a first floor room and we were accomodated nicely....the rooms even though they are now being fixed up were very clean and neat.....they do need refurbishing .but still nice to see such a clean place.....We unpacked and immediately went to the food court to get some food.....anything but at twelve thirty we were STARVING.....we also picked up the refillable mugs that we enjoyed using at Port Orleans.....we got our summer clothes on and we were on our way to MK ....we love to start our vacation in such a great atmosphere......the parade was starting to attract alot of lookers so we got our area and watched when it came around....as always ....what a great parade......after that we ventured over to Buzz Lightyear and had a few good runs......my hubby and I love to do this......after that we sort of ventured over to Haunted Mansion and got right on this ride......I think they have some new cobwebs up there......and Leota at the door before you enter the mansion was fantastic.....we saw her move her eyes and face and it was just great....some people around us were seeing it for the first time and they were amazed.....we were very tired from getting up so early so we wandered back to our hotel and got our refillable mugs and went to the hot tub.......relaxation at its best....early night tonight we said........BUT at eleven thirty our neighbors started their party......YIKES......we were to tired to complain.....

the party next door only lasted until a wee after midnight.....so we slept the rest of the night and got up early so we could breakfast and get to AK...Port Orleans has a great Breakfast platter that filled us up each day......three sausages....home fries...eggs and a bisquit.....yummy that and my coffee and I am quite contented......over to the Animal Kingdom and we walked almost on the Safari.....first we got fass passes for it to do it again.......the first safari we got to see so many animals.....we love to do this and hubby got alot of good shots.....photos will be here on Monday....the baby hippo was so cute.....and the cheetah was roaming and the KING of the Jungle was standing up .......great time to see the animals........we walked onto it after the first one and used our fast pass......we this time had giraffes that were almost close enough to touch.......amazing time ....after this safari we walked over to do the Dinosaur Ride......I love this ride....it scares the you know what out of me each time I do it.....but still scream at the correct time.......we decide to do it again and this time hubby says when we get to the photo time .....lets wave.....so I say okey.....we do it and I wave and scream with a big open mouth at the same time.....so much fun.....started to rain and we decided to have lunch at the mcdonalds outlet.....we have the chicken ceasar salad which is great.......we go from there to the bus and back to hotel to get ready for our evening .....we rest for a bit and go to the hot tub....and relax and veg in it.....even with the damp weather...makes our old tired muscles very happy.....we get ready for our evening in Epcot.....we take our bus over to Epcot and I am still amazed at all the creatures by the side of the roads that we see.....Deer.....Turkeys.....Armadillos .......I love it......we walk about the front of Epcot and see the sites ....decide to eat at the Land and both have the Pasta, and Salad special....it is good and I am again contented .....we take the boat to the other side and get off in front of Japan...I am addicted to hot rice crackers that are so great....yummy.....I could eat them all the time.....so my five bags are not going to last me very long.....took the boat back to the Canadian drop off and back to our hotel.....we are still dragging....hope our neighbors keep quiet tonight.....

Brian goes and asks at the front desk about what time is a reasonable time for our neighbors to quiet down......we know we are all on vacation and they are entitled to have a good time also.....BUT we are tired.....they were very sorry and even asked if we wanted to switch rooms.....but Brian said no that is alright....we will wait.....so we DO.......we have our big breakfast at the food court and on to DTD....it was very very chilly today and we are glad that we always arrive with our Maine gear on/or with us.....so we are nice and toasty walking through down town .....we go into the WDW store and I get the gifts that will be welcomed by the kids in my daycare and also the neighbor kids and last but not least my friends and our kids and grandkids.....we do love to shop for them.....then over to Nothing but the Blues and got t shirts for our son and his wife and then bottles of their mega hot hot hot sauce for son.....son in law and us.....NOT ME .....the men all like this stuff.....we were still freezing when we came out of there and we ambled back to the bus stop at Planet Hollywood area and back to our hotel........supposedly we ate lunch at this time.....but my handwriting stunk so bad I can't tell what we ate....I know pumba do better next time......we rested for a bit and then over to the hot tub to really relax.....the coldness didnt' bother us as the hot tub unthawed the joints and muscles.....we always enjoy this feature....by the time we unfroze back at our room and dressed for the 40's in temperature we caught the bus over to Epcot again....we walked over to the left side and bypassed Mexico and got a frozen strawberry margarita from a side stand.....being not much of a drinker......I could of been wheeled out of there and not given a hoot.....I only drank half of it and threw the rest away as we watched the Chinese Acrobats that are always amazing.....we also did the ride in mexico.....can't forget that.....we were going to eat there but the menu did not excite us.....so we kept on walking and ended up at Tangerine Cafe.....we were going to try the chicken and lamb platter with cous cous and hummus and tobule and something else......we had baklava and an almond cake for dessert.......different food .....not sure if I liked it or not....(I dont' think I did).....went back to the hotel and slept like a log....our neighbors didnt' make any noise tonight.....wonder if they left or what

I love your reports! You sure kept busy, but found time to relax in the hot tub, too! Looking forward to reading more. :)

Making a note to follow Marie around in Epcot - to catch the margaritas before they are thrown away;) - thanks for posting!
