How to pay????

Hi,
This is our first trip to Walt Disney World...How do you pay for your meals and items at Walt Disney World????I thought maybe just using the credit cards, and some money...Or maybe traveler's check....What about debit cards can you use them in Walt Disney World???I just don't want to carry alot of cash on me ...

Will you being staying on WDW property?

If so, you can get spending privledges on your room key. This is done by presenting a credit card at check in. I used my Visa Check card(thus the money ended up coming out of our checking accout). You can use your room key/card everywhere in the parks and resorts. It was all I ever carried with me. This also gives you express check-out. The morning of check out you'll recieve an envelope listing all your charges and it is automatically charged to your card. If you want the night before check out you can go to front desk and pay your balance via cash, traveler's checks etc.


Otherwise I believe that credit cards are accepted almost everywhere. The exceptions would be popcorn/drink and icecream stands.

I stayed at ASSports in April and used the mean vouchers and they were wonderful and will get them again when we go back next April. Thinking but not sure if you can use credit cards in the Endzone, but there is a ATM machine in the store and is in the same building as the Endzone.

Yep and the room/card key they ask you upon checkin if you want your credit card connected to those keys and you can buy whatever you want and you will get a bill at the end. The only problem with that is you don't realize how much you are spending with the key card until the end and it does surely add up.

We use the room charge. We take a small amount of cash with us each day and charge most everything to the room. We pay up with the Disney Visa at the end of the trip, and pay off the whole thing when the bill arrives.

Check out the budget board. There are tons of threads on connections; the company that sales the vouchers.

Also look over the menus on Deb's site, http://www.wdwig.com/menu/menus.htm

This will give you a good idea of how much everything will cost, and if the vouchers will come in handy for youl.
