Got the following email...

Good morning,

I've received your temporary parking permit. You can either email or call me with your payment at 407-742-3985. We do not accept Visa credit or debit card. Any other credit or debit cards are acceptable.
Thank you & have a nice day

The cost for the temporary parking permit is $15 US dollars. We accept money order, checks, Master Card, Discover or American Express. If you're using any of these credit cards, there's a $2 service fee.

I only have Visa credit and debit cards and don't really want to post the money, so has anyone encountered a similar problem and found a solution?

Is there any way to get a Mastercard or Maestro debit card?

I would add it is safer to have a Mastercard with you as I have known in the past, whilst on holiday, for either Visa or Mastercard to be broken and having one of each means you can at least pay for what you need at the time be it a meal, park passes, shopping etc.

Claire ;)

Im not going to be much help - I sent a cheque through the post was a bit of a nightmare getting a cheque in dollars but I too only hold visa cards so was the only way we could do it !! However I also found that at disney parks some of the disabled bays were further away than if you actually park and get the tram - It depends if this is an option for u though!!
Id be interested to hear if you find another way around the Visa issue too !!
Good Luck Louise x

At MK there are disabled bays we used that were just next to the underpass near the entrance.

Yeah i phoned to make payment a few days ago, luckily i had a Virgin American Express card.

Thanks for the heads up - we need to do this soon. Although, I am not surprised that Visa is not accepted. Over the last year or so, Lloyds TSB has replaced all it's old Visa credit cards with either one Mastercard or a Mastercard and American Express card (both linked to the same account), so there must be a reason it's 1) not accepted and 2) been removed from one of the UK's largest banks!

Will have to dig out the old MC for this one now, which is slightly annoying, as will have to put on credit card not debit card, but never mind!
