how to pay for pirates and pals cruise?

Before calling to book, I have a question- can you pay for the Pirates and Pals cruise either by using gift cards, or a Disney vacation account? Or do you have to put it straight onto a cc? Thanks to anyone who might know!

I paid for the cruise with my Disney Vacation Account earlier this year. You'll just need to have your full account number to make the reservation.

I have read that some CM's aren't aware that you can use the account to pay, so if you get one who can't do it for you, hang up and call back.

I paid in full by credit card when I booked it. I'm staying off site, though, and don't have a vacation account.

ok- just got thru to Disney on the phone- she said the vacation account is the best way to go, because they can only enter a max of 2 payments. So I could only use one $50 gift card, and then would have to put the rest on a cc. So that's what I'll do!
