How to pack for the parks?

Last trip we used a backpack and just stuck it in the stroller when we went on rides. This year, at this point, we are planning on no stroller. I think we will be carrying at least two autograph books, two disposable cameras, one digital camera, couple of bandaids, couple of tylenol, a washcloth, a couple of ziploc bags, a collapsible cup, that might be it. Option 1 is trying to fit all of this into a fanny pack for me to wear (I don't think that will work). Option 2 is getting a fanny pack for each child plus one for me and splitting the stuff up. Option 3 is getting a fanny pack for the kids to take turns carrying, and one for me. Option 4 is getting a backpack for me to wear. I doubt DH will want to take a turn carrying either, he will just go get a stroller if given the choice. I DON'T want our vacation to turn into a battle over who has to carry the bag or a half day search for a bag forgotten somewhere. Suggestions?

We use a small backpack and take turns carrying it. We pack small water bottles for each child and one for me and DH to share. We take those propel water mixins and koolaid singles to mix with water. We also take a small firstaid kit, digital camera in a ziplock bag, ziplockbag full of baby wipes for cleanup, 3 autograph books with markers, map & plan for the day. It sounds like a lot but its not heavy at all.

I bought a new sling backpack for this trip and I love it. Mine is a mini sling from REI. Lots of people use the Baggilini. They are very comfortable in my opinion and have plenty of room for what you need. I am traveling with a toddler and have room to spare.

When I just had one child I did Disney with a fanny pack for the important stuff, and we took one backpack that we all took turns carrying that held raincoats for the water rides and a water bottle. I like a fanny pack because I never never take it off and therefore know that it will not get lost.

having small fanny packs for each child to carry their own snacks, etc. is great. It takes some of the weight off of you, and teaches them responsibility as well.
