How to opt out of the antics?

We've had very low-key antics at Whispering Canyon and 50's Primetime. It was really just enough to be fun without being obnoxious. We didn't even have to ask - they were able to tell by our response that we weren't into the whole over-the-top antics. But I imagine if you said please not to do any, you'd have no problem. We'd stayed away from both for years because of that but actually enjoyed the minimal interactions and the food.
