How to move up to veteran status from earning my ears

How do you move up from earing my ears to veteran

It used to be at 75 posts you would change to something, then at 500 posts it would change to something else, but I'm not sure if that is still the way it works.

"Stay involved" and "keep posting" are not answers to the OP. Anyone could have figured that out. Thanks to those who actually ANSWERED the question.
