How to make a Birthday great?

Hi guys! My family is working on my mom's birthday coming up in December. We've already decided to spend a night at the Grand Californian Hotel. She loves Chocolate Strawberry s, how would i order that to our room? What are some things you guys have done. Special little things, a restaurants you guys suggest? Thanks

You could arrange that one of two ways, you could call room service directly at the hotel or you could call the Vacation Planners, since you are staying on Property that one night (Sorry I don't have the number handy).

I recently did an in-room celebration for my DH and I for our Wedding Anniversary, and that could be an option too, I requested when I was booking that to add a few extra items, and she took care of that (for a charge) as well. (I posted a whole post about it with pictures)

I added embroidered ear hats for each of us, as well as a bottle of cider (we aren't champagne fans).

Also, if there is something you want in the park, plush (or like us, ear hat) they can usually add that too.

Also, be sure to get the Happy Birthday buttons for your Mom (we got our Anniversary ones) when we checked into PPH, however you can pick them up at City Hall I believe. We had people (CMs and guests) wishing us Happy Anniversary all weekend long which was really cool, and The Fairy Godmother also signed our autograph book "Happy 1st Anniversary!" Also a lot of the characters asked about our anniversary as well.

We had a nice anniversary lunch at Cafe Orleans, and they brought us Mickey Beignets at the end of our meal, and also at Goofy's Kitchen they brought us cupcakes (that weren't the kind on the buffet).

I think any of the sit-down restaurants would be nice in the park, or if you really want to splurge how bout the Napa Rose since you are staying at the GCH? Or maybe book your Mom some spa services? I'm sure Mom would love a massage after a few days in the park (I know I did, LOL.)

Does your mom like cake? If so, I'd make sure she got cake. That's what bummed me out about my birthday at Disneyland; I did not get any cake! Otherwise, to make it special, I'd say just do whatever she wants on her birthday. At least, that's what I would've liked, LOL.

I see someone got you the link to the Spa prices. I think if my DH had more time, we would have done the couples massage.
