how to look round all hotels.

Well we're now at 60 days n counting til our next trip and planning is well underway, this time we are stopping at fantasy world resort villas instead of on site as we have 2 teenage boys and our eldest son and his girlfriend travelling with us. What i would like to ask is because we are not stopping on site will we still be allowed to travel round the various hotels and look at the holiday decorations? We would love to see the AKL lobby and many of the other resorts in all their holiday finery but dont know if we will be able to get through the barriers at the entrances without keys to the world, we will have park tickets but is this enough? Thanking you all in advance!!

Yes you can visit the resorts.

Tell the security you are there to eat/shop/look around and you can park for 3 hours.

Well worth doing - don't miss Grand Floridian gingerbread house.

We visited lots of the resorts when we went early december - made dining reservations at lots of different ones.

They also had photopass photographers by all the trees in case you want a family xmas portrait.

We went round the resorts the last time we were there, the guards were great about it. The grand floridian and beach club were gorgeous and AKLS lobby at christmas is just stunning
