How to keep whole milk cold in hotel?

I’m going with my 13 month old who’s drinking whole milk and I’m not sure how to keep it cold in the hotel room. Are mini fridges cold enough to keep it cold? She has a bottle In the morning when she wakes up and right before sleep. Also read you get an ice bucket and fill it with ice to keep it cold, does that work?

Yes the mini fridges are cold enough to keep it cold. You can also fill an ice bucket and put some milk in there too, if you want it even colder. If your bathroom has two sinks, use one for the ice...

I don't know about temp. But what about bringing along a few ziplock bags and add a bag or two of ice to the cooler/fridge to make sure. I would double bag the ice so you don't have a mess in the morning. If there is still a fair amount of ice in the morning, I would think that would prove the milk is good.

We just stayed Friday night and had a half gallon whole milk in our fridge. It stayed very cold

I have found the mini fridges work best when there is a decent amount of stuff in them. Meaning 1 bottle of water will never get very cold but if I put 10 in there they seem to hold the cold better and everything else stays cold.

We've learned to always check the mini fridge setting when we get to hotel. It always seems to be on the warmest side of the dial.
