So next week I am booking a May trip for a 40th birthday surprise trip for my DW for a week trip staying at POR for just the 2 of us. We've done 2 family trips in the past 3 years and have always stayed off property and planned it together. She has been on a few trips with her sister and always staying at a Value resort. My question is what is the best way to keep this secret? What will be sent via mail regarding the trip and what is communicated by email? I'll be booking directly through Disney. I can't guarantee I'd be able to keep her or the kids from seeing things coming through the mail. I am considering having them send stuff to my parents house. Would this work from the Disney side of things? What else do I need to be looking into?
