How to keep track of DP credits?

Considering taking the kids to Disney this fall and staying onsite if the free dining promotion is possible for us and we are able to book rooms. We are still working through the numbers so we will see.

But what I'm wondering is if it will be complicated to keep track of all the dining credits? We will have our 7 kids (ages 17 and down) with us and staying in 2 rooms so they will all have dining credits. (Except for baby) with both of my husband and I this seems like a lot to keep track of.

Because I know the older children might do their own thing one day and eat elsewhere if we are taking the littles to something. Plus a little could be napping during a time when some of us are eating a quick service meal. How will I know and keep track of all those variables? Do u just keep notes on your phones?

I know I read that you can get a print out of credits left but do they break it up for you? Examples - tell you how many adult TS meals specifically u have left and how many children's vs adults counter service credits u have and kids snacks vs adult snacks u have?

I know this is probably a silly ?. It just seems complicated considering my size crew and all their different ages and I don't want to trust myself to keep a running total. I'll be understandably distracted ;) lol
Thanks all!

I use a spreadsheet when making TS ADRs to count my usage (1 credit per person per night).

As for QS, every receipt will show how many credits you have left (TS will show too, but since if your ADRs are made, these are less important).

Ok thanks 4under4!

The only problem I forsee is for us is we won't be eating all of our meals together. For example we would probably buy multi day tickets for the littles but only 2 day tickets for the three oldest. They would rather spend a couple days at water parks. So they may not use all of their adult table service credits those days and may instead use up extra adult QS credits.
And trying to keep track of the kids QS credits vs the adult QS ones could be a pain as daddy might take a couple little ones down for a QS breakfast and let mommy sleep in one morning ;)

I'm probably over thinking this. I could just write down all of them before hand of the confirmed TS meals like you suggested and then take notes daily as to what happens with QS meals, snacks, and whether not a little one sleeps through a meal time) :)

The credits are all pooled to your reservation, so anyone can use them at any time. With this in mind, make sure your older kids know what you want them to use each day. It's okay if they use two QS on the same day, but that will take the total from the whole group. Snacks are not distinguished by adult/child, so there's just a total. Again, make sure the olders know they can only have one snack a day unless you're okay with them using more of them. I think your best bet is to go to the front desk/concierge each evening and ask them to print it out for you. You will then have a running total of what has been used and what you have remaining.
