How to keep the underwire in

I use a mesh bag (I think I got mine at Target) and just throw it in the wash and air dry, I've never had a problem with the wire.

You know I saw on a style show (Modern Girl's Guide to Life) that that bras should be thrown out/replaced every 3 months or they lose their shape and support.

Am I the only one who has bras much, MUCH older than that?!?

I have tried to find bras without underwires. I just can't stand them anymore!!! Those I do own are cheapies and they always jab me. Why torture myself? ;) I do need support, but there are good bras out there that don't have the wires and they are still made well.

The ones I do have w/ wires go in a net bag to wash and then air dry... unless DH does wash and tosses them into the drier.

CheshireVal I saw the same show. 3 months after spending $30-40 I think it should last me alittle more than 3 months. ::yes::

This popping out of the underwire is really starting to bug me lately. I agree only the VS ones don't pop out compared to all the others I've tried sooner or later they all popped out. lately sooner. I will only buy VS from now on.

VS for me too. I have had the same three bras from there for almost a year and I wash in the washer and often dry in the dryer. No problems at all. They are comfortable too. Before now I refused to wear underwire, but it does give a nice shape.

ebcrbnsoul, aren't you getting enough shots in vegas. maybe tonight we can all go to a topless revue;)

Does it seem to anyone else that they are making bras just so we have to replace them more often. I mean at this rate they'll be like pantyhose where you are lucky if you get one wearing from them.

I say, at the risk of giving a cheap thrill to anyone, that we need to protest. We stop wearing bras until they make them better so they last longer.
Anyone want to join me in my protest?

Trust me, you would want me to sit this one out. Gravity has hit this 41 year old bod pretty damn hard!

Well, maybe that would be the incentive. All the gravity cursed women would make them want to be more inventive. :rotfl:

Well, I have one vote for the protest, anyone else? ;)

HA!!...I wish I could protest...but honestly...big chested women NEED to wear bra's...and supportive ones...that's my problem. I can't find decent bra's that will support these things....they're DD thanks to my mom's side of the family. Then like most other woman in the world..one is bigger than the other  :o

No takers? Ah man! I hate to protest alone.
