How to Keep DD busy in lines????

We went to Six Flags yesterday....kind of a theme park trial...and DD3 did great!!! Loved the rides, the atmosphere, all of the people....but had some trouble with the waiting!!!

Any suggestions for occupying her? She will be turning four shortly before our trip, any ideas for this age group would be helpful!!!

The lines at WDW are much better for waiting than the ones at Six Flags - there is usually a lot to look at and they keep moving.

I totally agree with PP, there is much much better lines at disney then six flags or kings island... we went to kingd island last summer, as a help to the wait till feb... LOL and the lines were long, sweety and there is NOTHING fun to look at, all the themes in line is great!!! You DD will be better most likley

I agree with the others; DW is much better at managing lines and crowds, and they move faster. We just got back, and never waited more than 15 minutes in a line (and that one kept moving). If you utilize FP, get to the park early, and strategize a little, you'll be fine (unless you're going at a really peak time). Good luck and don't worry!

Looks like a June trip so you will have some lines. I agree that the lines are much better but kids can still get tired and board. Try things that require no equipment. Fours are old enough for simple games like I spy. They can look for hidden mickey's or whatever might be quite frequent in the particular line. Count the people in the line, count the tomb stones at HM, Look for something that starts with each letter. look for people that are wearing different character shirts. Try simple non messy snacks like fruit shape chews or fish crackers. I also agree the get there early, use fast pass and try to limit the waits As much as possible.
