how to handle drive from Cincinnati

We drove from Ontario. We made it to McDonough, GA. We stayed at the Best Western just off the freeway. It was nice, clean, comfy beds and had a couple restaurants within walking distance. I honestly have no idea what the town was like because we checked in at 8:00pm and left at 8:00am. We were to Disney by 2:30pm the next day.

On our drive back home we drove as far as Kentucky - I can't remember the name of the town, but it was the home of the original Kentucky Fried Chicken. Stayed at the Best Western there, and would NEVER stay there again. We would have just left, but we were using Best Western gift cards and would have had to find another Best Western.

We drove from Williamsburg VA to Detroit when DS was 9 months. It was about a 12 hour drive and he was great. We stopped at a rest stop and let him crawl around in the grass and stopped at a restaurant for dinner. We left around 9am He was still taking 2 naps and by 7pm he was out for the night so we just drove until 2am and still managed to get a relatively decent nights sleep.
