Background:
My MIL took her daughter's family to WDW the fall that our DD was born. She treated to everything as a gift including the PPTea. This past fall (2005) she treated *us* to a WDW trip (lovely of her, huh?) but didn't do the Tea because the other family was with us (paying their own way) and she did not want anyone to feel left out, but couldn't afford to take everyone. Also, DD was a little young for it, anyway, so she told us she would treat her to that whenever we took her to Disney again.

Well, we had a great time and decided to book our next trip for this fall. We are actually going the same week as my sister in law's family, but everyone is doing their own thing. (They are going all out at the GF, we are doing the Poly.) MIL asked me to book the Tea because she wants to give it to DD for her 4th birthday present. My DD's birthday is September 4. Our Disney trip is November 5-11. So there *is* some time between the two things, but I do think my DD will understand about getting the gift in advance.

What is the best way to "give" this gift? We thought about having Aurora call her, but the princess call thru Disney doesn't offer invitations like that as an option (but they *should*-- wouldn't it be cool?) I had asked a girlfriend of mine who is a voice-over actress (for real! she has cool stories!) to work up an Aurora voice and do the call, but she just booked an acting gig for that weekend and can't promise us that she will be able to call.

So-- anyone have some really creative ideas?

I am leaning towards getting her an Aurora dress and maybe a child's ettiquette book and wrapping them up with a special invitation...

What about creating a great invitation "From Aurora" to your DD and have her find it in the room, inviting her to the special tea for her birthday. Then when you make the ressie make sure to tell the CM that you are celebrating DD's birthday. I think they will make a big deal out of it. I realize you might have to read it to her, but she will certainly recognize her name on the invitation. You could make it all pink and really sparkily. I live in Williamsburg and I have a few friends who are Stampin Up consultants and I could certainly ask them if they have any suggestions. PM me if you are interested and I'll see if any of them have any ideas.
