Can anyone point me to a source where I can find out how to get to Putney from Gatwick airport?

How do you want to travel?
If you are renting a car then sat nav is the best option - but failing that you could try the AA (Automobile Association) route planner in the link below

Alternatively you can get a train or bus link to London Victoria Station and from there either another train to Putney Station (about 4 miles) or a cab to your final destination.

Thank you! No--it's not for me actually...but these folks won't drive. It will be bus or train...many thanks!

If your friends get the slow train (i.e. not the Gatwick Express) they will be able to change at Clapham Junction for the Putney train.
