How to get to the Boardwalk from CBR?

If we are staying at CBR & take a bus to MGM .......isn't there a walkway to the boardwalk? If so, how do you find it once you get off of the bus? Any better ways of getting to the boardwalk from CBR?

The walkway to Boardwalk is on the opposite side of the canal from the entrance to MGM. Just cross over to the water then walk away from MGM with the water on your left hand side. The path starts just opposite the bus stops.

Up to a year back there used to be a direct bus joining the two resorts, but I am certain this is no longer the case. If I understand it correctly, the Boardwalk conference center was used as an overspill for the one at CBR, hence the direct link.

I was wondering about this myself since I have a breakfast PS in that area ... Would it be the same amount of time to take a bus over to Epcot and walk from there? Just curious... in case the Epcot bus came first

MGM/Boardwalk is a 15/20 minite trip by boat or by walking and you don't need park entry.

Epcot/Boardwalk is three times the distance and you have to walk most of the way. You also need a ticket to Epcot because you are going to cross through it. Also, you have to pass through World Showcase, which doesn't open 'till 11am.

We recently stayed at CBR. The night we decided to head over to the BW, we were already at MGM and we took the boat. It was a nice boatride, although walking might be faster. I could see the walkway to the right of the water as we went in the boat.

From BW, we went through BWI to the front and got a taxi back to CBR which only cost $6.

It seems the best way is to walk or take the boat from MGM. The other way would be to take a bus from CBR to DTD, then transfer to a bus to BWI. This would be the way to return from BW to CBR. But the $6 taxi is an appealing alternative.

Thanks Andrew! I had forgotten about World Showcase Good to know since I probably would have showed up at Epcot and missed my PS.

Definitely do not go through EPCOT. We tried that one time, and it absolutely took us forever to walk all the way through EPCOT to the Boardwalk. I think getting off at MGM sounds like a good idea. And I had no idea you could get a cab that cheap. We may have to try that sometime.
