How to get to Mystic Mountain?

Hello,

We are going on our cruise in January and I am planning on doing the tranopy and bobsleds at Mystic Mountain while in Jamaica. I just booked it directly with the vendor. Now I'm not sure what the best way to get there would be. It looks like it's over an hour from the port. Does anyone know where I should look for transportation? Thank you for your help!

I was in the same dilemma when we deiced to do this. Plus being so far away from the port I was concerned about getting back on time, and of course safety. We ended up doing it through DCL and were very happy with that. The tour guide who rode on the bus with us was wonderful. She gave us a lot of information and got the kids involved. She even asked everyone their name so she could tell us what it is in Patois (the Jamaican dialect). I felt the ride ended up being part of the excursion. I don't know that every bus going there had as good of an experience but ours was great!

After seeing how far it was and what we got out of the ride, I would suggest doing it through DCL. I'm not sure I would have felt comfortable getting there on our own.
