How to get to MK for Halloween Party

A friend of mine gave me this tip for our trip to WDW in October and I thought I would pass it on.
If you are staying onsite and have tickets for MNSSHP I have been told it is nuts trying to get on the busses and just as busy to drive to MK. My friend and her family hadn't moved in half an hour so what she did was take the bus to EPCOT then take the monarail to MK. They were there in no time. This is what we will be doing October 31 from the All Star Movie resort so if anyone wants to join us just follow Jessie from Toy Story, Boo from Monsters Inc, Perdita and whatever I can get my DH to dress up in.

What time will you be getting to MK for this event? I have ressies at Liberty Tree at 6pm on 10/31 and I read somewhere that they will let us in at around 4pm with our MNSSHP tickets.

If you are in the park already and have tickets for MNSSHP, you can stay in when they close to the general public. We had 4 o'clock reservations for the castle last year. After dinner, we got our wristbands and got an hour or so in the park before they opened the gate for MNNSHP.

OK, let me get this straight. I have to waste a park hopper day just to have dinner at 6pm and then use my MNSSHP ticket for the 2nd part for the Halloween party? I don't want to do that.

We planned to be in the park that day anyway because we knew that we could stay when they closed to get ready for MNSSHP. I don't know if they will let you in at 4 with just the MNSSHP ticket though. I was just letting the op know about the option that we chose.

Amirah95 ~ In past years, people who hold a MNSSHP ticket have been permitted to enter the MK at 4:00 p.m. WITHOUT using any other park admission, and WITHOUT having a PS at any of the restaurants. When the park closes at 6:00 p.m., you are then herded over to Tomorrow Land until the party starts.

I think what we are going to do that day is go to MK when it opens in the morning and stay until lunch or just after. Then go back to the resort for a rest and swim, change into our costumes and head back to MK around 4pm. My kids are 8 and 2 so they will need a short rest before the party.

I'll be going to Mk for MNSSHP as well on October 31 and we're staying at the BCV. I will probably leave for BCV by 3:45p to get there in time for our 5:00p PS (because I want to get there earlier than my PS). I might try the bus and if it looks bad, then maybe we'll walk over to Epcot and take the monorail (or I could just drive to TTC ).
