How to get to Illuminations Cruise?

We have a reservation at the Boardwalk. So I drive to the Boardwalk....tell them I have a cruise so I can park my car....and .....Then what......how far is it and where do I go?

PS. Hoping to eat at ESPN before ..... so I guess I need to know how to get to ESPN from parking lot and then where to go from there!

As you approach the front entrance to BW you will see a set of steps to the right of the front entrance. The steps lead down to the boardwalk level. You will see the water as soon as you are down the steps. Walk to the boards and you will see the entire boardwalk. To the far right as you face the water is the ESPN club. I believe the cruise captain uses the dock that the Friendship boats use between MGM and EPCOT which you will see as you hit the boards from the steps.

We took the cruise last December. They use the same dock as the Friendship boats. We waited at the top and the captain parked the boat and came to get us.
BTW, if you want they can pick you up at the Beach Club.
