Never been to HoopDee Doo Revue or Mickeys BBQ,but definitely going to try one this sept trip...I will be in Animal Kingdom that day, so how exactly do I get to these shows.
I will be honest, I am terrible with directions and my Disney bus experience last trip was go directly from point a to point b,no stops in-between, so please be as descriptive as possible in your directions so I wont get lost
:rotfl2:

You take the Fort Wilderness buss from the Animal Kingdom. Once at Fort Wilderness you take the Internal Bus to the Hoop De Doo.

If going to HDDR, I like to go to MK and take the FtW boat from there. Very pleasant and it drops you right down the path from Pioneer Hall.

Good suggestion. Another option when coming from AK is to take the bus to the Contemporary and catch the boat from their dock to FtW.

Hey guys, maybe you can expand on this and tell me, how do I get back to my Resort. I'm going to be staying at Pop Century & have wanted to do Mickey's BBQ. I've heard there are Direct busses to go back to Resorts, that pick-up outside Pioneer Hall.

After HDD there are special busses right outside the hall to take you back to your resort. Don't know if this applies to MBBQ though. If not, I'd take the boat back to the MK and then the bus to Pop.

How do you get from AK to MK? Are there between-park buses?

There is for that route

No, there are not direct buses from DAK to MK. It would take 2 forms of transportation to get there. I'm sure g4t didn't notice that you would be traveling from DAK.

If you want to take the boat, it's much easier from DAK to take the bus to CR and catch the boat there.

If you were traveling from a resort, you would take the bus to MK instead.

This is why I love DIS.....so much information!!!
Okay, so which route will be easier for Hoop Dee Do Revue....the Fort Wilderness bus from AK then the internal bus...or, the bus to the Contempory from AK and then get the boat(is the walking path clearly marked on how to get to the show once you get off the boat??)
People have written that there is a resort bus to get back to POP after the show......is this after each of the 3 seating's or only a specific time.....also, where do you have to go to meet up with these buses.
AK closes at 6 the day we are planning this so what time would we have to leave to make the 6:15 seating/show
Sorry for so many questions but I am pretty sure this is the show we are going to do and I need to have all my information before I order my tickets :)
Oh almost forgot, if I order my tickets now for a September trip do they mail them to me or do I pick them up at my hotel when I arrive :wave2:

I prefer the bus to CR and then boat to FtW. The path is very obvious. Only way to go when you get off the boat!!
There are buses back to resorts after the last HDDR show. And they aren't direct...they could include 5 or 6 resorts.
If you are able to take one of these buses, you will be directed to the area by a CM. It's just up a bit from Pioneer Hall.

But if MK is open, that's the best place to go to in order to get a bus back to the resort.

Just checked and MK is open till 10 that night......but,if I go on a night where there is a Halloween party at MK,do the buses still run constantly after 7 or only select times

If there is a party going on, the buses will run pretty much the same as usual. They don't stop until after the party ends.

Thanks so much for all the help and information...Hoop Dee Do Revue reservations are booked!!!!....I am so excited :cool1:
