Hello, we are heading to Disney in a couple weeks to celebrate a 30th birthday. We have a full day planned in Magic Kingdom on the actual birthday and we were hoping to head over to Disney's Boardwalk afterwards to check out Abracadabar and Jelly Rolls. What is the best way to get from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Boardwalk at park closing time.

Also, we are staying at Port Orleans - Riverside, what is the best way to get back to our hotel if we don't leave the Boardwalk until after midnight. Thank you!

I don't know what you mean by "disney world" the entire area is disney world, including, magic kingdom, boardwalk resort , epcot, port orleans resrt, etc.
anyway, from magic kingdom take a bus to boardwalk resort.. as you exit the bus, walk towards the lobby area. before you get to it, you will see a sign to walk down the steps to "the boardwalk". the abracadara bar will be on your right, jelly rolls a it of a walk to the left. espn club a bit of a walk to the right.. all along, different street shows from time to time on the boardwalk.
to get back to POR. you can take a bus to Disney springs, then transfer to a bus to POR. but it would be much quicker and cheaper to uber or taxi it.

Quicker, yes. Cheaper, certainly not -- but not expensive, either.

Nothing's cheaper than free.

MK to BW: Take the bus directly to Boardwalk from MK. If you decide you want to use a car service (taxi/uber/lyft) walk to Contemporary to do so.

BW to POR: In this case, I would probably take a taxi/uber/lyft if I wanted to get back quickly. If you are not in too much of a hurry and want a fee option, take a bus to Disney Springs. I am not sure how late boat service is from Disney Springs to POR, but that could be an option over a bus from Disney Springs to POR.

POR isn't all that far from BW. I would probably take a cab or Uber. If you don't want to spend the money (and it won't be too much), you can take the bus from BW to DS....at that time of night, it may very well make several stops along the way. POR could even be one of those stops. If not, get off at DS and then take the bus back to POR.

Thank you everyone, I sincerely appreciate the advice. We will take the bus from Magic Kingdom and take an Uber back to Port Orleans. I appreciate all the help, thank you for your time. :thanks:

Ah but the op asked for the *best* way.
And got replies all of whiose content is defensible at a DIS-meet held in a Victorian high ceilinged library over cookies and tea and which could get heated.

Looks to me like MK & DW are reversed. WDW is the entire property; MK is the theme park.

But it's a moot point. The OP had typed DW by mistake, and the post has since been corrected.

I'm thinking seashore was being a little "toungue-in-cheek" ;) since this is what so many people think... as in "today we'll go to Disney and tomorrow we'll go to Epcot." lol!
(and as was said, since to OP corrected it, now my post makes no sense! )
