I know this has been answered before but I can not find it now and we are leaving in 4 days. What is the best way to get to Coca Beach from WDW? thanksss, corvair

Take I-4 toward Orlando, then get on 528 east (the Beeline). Just stay on it until the end, then south on A1A to Cocoa Beach. You can also take State Road 536 (near Downtown Disney West Side) to 417 (the Central FL Greeneway) until it runs into 528 east of the Orlando airport. There's less traffic that route.

We just came back from there. The above directions are right on. The 528 is a toll road. If I remember it's $2.50 total from I4 to Cocoa Beach.

One way to know you are on the right road is to follow all the Ron Jon Surf Shop billboards.

treasuredude, thanks for the response. Did you go from WDW? If you did, how long does it take to get there??? thanks....corvairamy

I didn't really time the trip but I would guess between 45 minutes and an hour. We parked in the Ron Jon Surf Shop parking ramp and shopped the store. You can leave your car there if you like and walk to the beach. It's maybe only a block away. We walked the beach from there down to the Cocoa Beach Pier. We ate at an open air seafood place called Ah Schucks. It's at the base of the pier as you walk up. At the end of the pier, you can fish for like $3.00. We didn't fish. My son wanted to rent a boogie board and had a blast. Lots of shells on the beach and it's a great break from the parks.
