Hello people

Could you suggest some ways to get to Busch Gardens for 8am?

As when we are going i would like to do the VIP tour and i heard you have to be there for 8am. And we dont drive so just wondering what transport offerings there is and how much?

Has anyone done the VIP tour? x

Do you mean the private one at $200 each or the cheaper one at $95 each + both park admission.

We have done the $95 one(Guided adventure) only ones on it so it turned out to be a private your, almost 6 hours long so glad we did not pay double the price for the extra 2 hours. Starts at 10:30am

It was a great tour but they work out very expensive if you have to pay for a days entry ontop, we have AP's so did not have to pay for entry.

No idea how you would get there if you have to be there at 8am, don't think the buses leave until around then.

This Tour hun

Busch Gardens Elite Adventure Tour

Operates: Daily
Schedule: Meet at Busch Gardens at 8.00am for Breakfast.
Duration: Eight hours
Includes: Private VIP Guided Tour for up to 8 hours
Front-of-line access to all major roller coasters and water rides
Reserved seating at KaTonga
Private Tour with the exception of the Serengeti Safari portion of the tour
Serengeti Safari (Guests must be at least 5 years old for this element)
Breakfast, bottled water and lunch at the Crown Colony Restaurant

Adult: £138

Does anybody know how much a taxi would be?

Yes thats the private one, not done that, I think the one we did is better value, we would not be interested in breakfast to start, but not done it to compare. I just know the guided adventure tour at $95 was great.
Taxi, From Disney to Airport is $50-60, Busch is over double the distance so I would expect around $250 return journey.

If the $ keeps improving against teh $ then it might be cheaper to book the tour direct with Busch just now with current rate it works out about £141.

If it was me I would travel to Busch Gardens the day before on the free transport from Seaworld and stay in a cheap hotel near by.:thumbsup2

Very good idea i may look into that x

I would look into the hotel possibility first but you would obviously have to make sure that the bus allows this, can't really get on the return journey if it has already turned up full for that day!I definately wouldn't fancy paying for a taxi,I'm sure that it is 89 miles one way making for a very expensive trip.

Lol i wish Wayne Matt has taken his test 7 times and failed (he is really nervous person) and i dont want to drive or need to drive at the moment bit scared of the roads. It would make it much easier though lol

I am sure the test is a lot harder now than when I passed about 25 years ago. No-one was more nervous than me when I was 17, I had panic attacks coming out of the house. No idea how I did it but only had about 8 lessons and passed 1st time. 25 years on and I am totally the opposite, rarely get nervous.

Natasha don't give up yet! We love BG can't beat those coasters, even done them in the Pitch dark at Halloween:scared1: Do you need to do the tour? If not just get the bus from Seaworld & back in the day?

I dont need the tour just thought it would be a nice suprise for the dbf i defo do wanna go im going to look more into it =D thanks for all ur advice x

very interested in this thread because i was wondering if BG needed 2 days? I was thinking of going on the free bus and then staying in a hotel nearby but did wonder about the return journey.:confused3 Are the lines for the rides as much as in Disney/Universal? Or am i just panicking and we will get the majority done in a day?:thumbsup2

BG can get very busy, last year we went 3 times. 2 days in August, 1 day end Dec.
Early Aug & late Dec were really busy 1 hour+ for many rides but later in August was a lot quieter.
It can be done in the day but these days we don't like staying late in parks, we get there for opening come out late afternoon. If you go from opening to closing then maybe 1 day is enough depending on lines and how late they open.
