How to get the best deal for January?

We have just decided we are definately going to WDW in January. We would like to stay at Pop Century, but haven't booked it yet. We will definately be getting AP's.

Here's the question: Should we go ahead and book at rack rate room only for that time, and then hope that AP rates come out? Or would we do better through AAA or something like that?

If you book now, you can always change the ressie later when codes come out. I just booked the Poly at a AAA rate, with the intention of changing it when AP codes come out.
