How to get SW boarding passes for connecting flight?

My sister is leaving Manchester on the 8:30AM flight, but has to go into Baltimore and I believe, switch planes. If she does on-line check-in at home, will she be able to also get her boarding passes for the 2nd leg of her flight? Or will she have to check-in in Baltimore to get her boarding pass? She's traveling with her 10 yo daughter, so would really like to know she's going to be able to sit with her.
