How to get from WL to Dolphin

I am planning on splitting our stay between the WL and Dolphin and was told on the resorts board that since the Dolphin is not a disney hotel we wouldn't be able to get our luggage transferred through WL. If this is the case I need to know what the best way would be to get to the Dolphin w/ luggage and two kids in tow? Are cabs available? expensive?

I cannot answer on the transfer of luggage issue but I would check to verify what you heard. There are cabs readily available at all resorts (WL valet will get one for you right outside the front of the resort) and charge is in the $12 range.
