I would like to book the kids on a pirate cruise at CBR ( cruise starts at 9:30, MUST be at dock at 9:15 am).

We will be taking a dedicated shuttle from off-site resort to TTC arriving at TTC at 8:15 am.

How would I then get to CBR dock by 9:15 am and would I have enough time to do this?

Or should I plan on taking a taxi from TTC to CBR? If so, how much approx. would this cost and is there ALWAYS a taxi available?

Any info. would be really appreciated.

Thank you

Isn't the pirate cruise at the Grand Floridian? If so, then you would simply take the monorail from TTC to GF. If it is indeed at CBR, then you would have to go from TTC to MK and then catch the CBR bus.

I swear the pirate cruise is at GF. It would be much easier for you.

Unless things have changed I thought the pirate cruise departed from the Contemporary? I can not count the amount of times I saw Captin Hook and Mr Smee on the 4th floor with all the guests going on the cruise and other times seeing them walk threw the lobby out by the pool towards the boat dock.

There actually is a pirate cruise which departs from CBR (along with GF as well as YC/BC). The one I am interested in for the kids is the CBR one.

What we have here is an abbreviation problem. CBR generally refers to Caribbean Beach Resort, CR is the typical abbreviation for the Contemporary Resort.

If what you want to do is get from the TTC to the Contemporary, the resort monorail is the best choice. If you board at the TTC, you'll go around to the Poly, GF and MK, then stop at the CR. Alternatively, you could take the ferry to the MK, then walk to the CR.

Does the cruise just go along the lake at Caribbean Beach Resort or do you mean the Contemporary Resort (CR)?

I stand corrected... there is one at CBR... here is the info. http://www.wdwinfo.com/just_for_kids/piratecruise.htm

Best bet is to then go from TTC to MK and then take the CBR bus.

I think the OP meant to say CR (Contemporary Resort) and not CBR (Caribbean Beach Resort). Besides I have not read anything that their are any cruises that depart from the Caribbean Beach. In fact I don't think there is a boat dock to have any type of boats which could go there.

There is an Island of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise that is at the CBR, I would guess that this is what the OP is referring to. There certainly is a marina there of some type as they rent the sea raycers and other boats.
In order to get to the CBR from the TTC you can take the monorail to the MK and then get a bus to the CBR from there, as no buses go from the TTC to any of the resorts.
Your best bet would be to take a taxi from the TTC, there always seems to be taxis waiting there..if not I would assume that you could go over to the transportation window and have one called for you. I would suspect that the cost would be about $12-$15.
