How to get from the Contemporary to UCF ?

I have a dilemma. I need to find the best and least expensive way to get my brother in law from the CR to the University of Central Florida. I called a taxi comany and they said around $75. Is there a better way?

Aside from possibly a rental car, the only other way would be via Lynx bus... but this would be a lengthy operation. You would have to take the monorail to the TTC. From there, you'd get the Lynx #50 bus. This bus departs on the :18 and :48, and will (hopefully) arrive at the Lynx Central Station at :05 and :35 of the next hour. This bus does go on I4, so traffic is expected.

You will need to connect to the Lynx #13 at the Central Station to get to UCF. This bus departs on the :15 and :45 and arrives at the UCF SuperStop at :22 and :50 of the next hour.
