How to get from here to there....

I'm not sure if this is right. We will be at Animal Kingdom and have reservations at Boma. Can we get a bus from Animal Kingdom to Animal Kingdom Lodge or walk?
To get back to POFQ can we take a bus to Downtown Disney and the boat back to POFQ? Help please....

Only buses between AK and AKL--walking is not an option.

AKL to POFQ is tougher and will require two bus hops, possible via DTD or any park that's open. Or just take a cab directly between.

AK to AKL from Bomas ADR, which you will love.


To get back to PO

• Bus to DTD check to see if there is a PO bus at the station if so take it. If not walk to the boat dock

It will work to go from AK to AKL via bus. Then bus to DTD. Then either bus to POFQ or boat ride. Two things to keep in mind. The bus ride from AKL to DTD is very long. At the end of your day, after a fine meal, you want to get back to your resort quickly, not take a long bus ride. Second thing, keep in mind that POR/POFQ boats quit running from DTD at 11pm and in the last hour, 10-11pm, there is a long line. You may wait for 2, 3, 4 boats before you get on one. OTOH, if you choose to take the bus from DTD to POFQ, you could be waiting awhile, and again, after a long day, that's the last thing you want to do.

It's a great idea to take a taxi after Boma. Best money you'll ever spend.

At the end of your day, after a fine meal, you want to get back to your resort quickly, not take a long bus ride.

When I eat at Boma, I get a fairly early ADR (6:00) because I like going to DTD afterwards to shop and walk around before going back to my resort.
