How to get from DHS to Downtown Disney

Is there direct transportation. I thought there was. Can anyone tell me what is the best way from Hollywood Studios to Downtown Disney. Using Disney transportation. Thank you!!

There used to be transportation from DTD to the parks but Disney put an end to it...too many people parking at DTD for free and heading to a park..thereby avoiding that huge parking fee at the parks.
So....your best bet would be to go to BW from DHS and then take their bus to DTD. Or, take the bus to SSR and then walk or bus to DTD.

This is not set in stone, and can change at any minute, but I understand that the bus from the Studios to Pop Century becomes a DTD bus once it reaches Pop Century, so you could stay on the bus after it unloads passengers and reloads, and you are then on to DTD.

Good luck with that. Disney changes there minds daily. The last time we tried to bus from a Park to DTD the bus was only running after 4pm. We took a bus to SSR than boated to DTD. We could have walked from SSR to DTD but the boat was more fun.

The above poster was correct. There is NO direct bus, but if you take the Pop Century bus and just stay on, the next stop is DD.

We always plan a trip to DD after Hollywood Studios (4 trips in the past year) and this is how we do it. Its really not that long either. Usually you are ready for a little rest after a day at HS, so the bus ride is relaxing.
