We are staying at the All Star Sports in March and have an 8:40 breakfast reservation at the Polynesian Resort one of the days. How would we go about getting there using the busses? Thank you!

Take the bus to MK and then the ferry or the monorail to the poly. Be at the bus stop by 7:15.

You take a bus to the Magic Kingdom, then take the monorail to the Polynesian. You can also take the express monorail to the TTC and walk to the Poly from there, if the express is running that early.

Bus service begins around 6:30 (i.e. the buses start rolling out of the depot around that time), and probably the first bus will hit All Stars at around 6:45. The bus service is not as regular before park opening, but there will probably be buses every 30-40 minutes until about an hour before opening, at which point they'll start coming more often. The bus ride will be 20 minutes or so to the MK, plus possible stops at other All-Stars hotels. Then you should allow 20 minutes to get to the Poly on the monorail, including waiting time.

Working that backwards, you need to be waiting for a monorail by 8:20, which means you need to be arriving at the MK bus stop by 8:10, which means you need to be on a bus by 7:40, which means you should be at the bus stop by 7-ish, since buses might be as far apart as 40 minutes that early in the morning.

Alternatively, you could just get a cab at about 8:15. It'll be about $20-25 to the Poly.

We actually are driving to WDW from Pennsylvania so we will have our car. Maybe we should just drive there! Right after breakfast we wanted to head to Epcot so I thought it would be easier to not use our car and just catch a bus to Epcot after eating. But all of that, makes me just want to drive over ourselves!

Note that if you drive to the Polynesian for breakfast, then you must drive to your next destination (here, Epcot). If you drive "to Magic Kingdom" which is to the Transportation & Ticket Center that is a 5 minute walk to the Poly' then you may optionally leave your car at TTC and take the monorail to Epcot.

Oh yes, definitely drive. Park at the Poly, then when you're done drive to Epcot. That's by far the fastest way.

When we have a car, we always drive to the parks; it's much faster than the buses. With the MK, it's kind of a tossup. If you catch a bus immediately, it'll be faster than driving because the bus drops you right near the MK entrance while the parking lot is on the other side of the lake and you still have to take a monorail or ferry to the actual park. But for convenience, we still usually drive.
