How to get from AK to Disney Springs for dinner?

Am I correct that the "easiest" way would be to bus to Saratoga Springs and get off at Congress Park and walk?

You are probably right if there isn't a direct bus from AK to Disney Springs, last time I was there I think they would go direct from park to Downtown Disney

There haven't been direct buses between the parks and DTD in years because people were taking advantage of the free parking at DTD in order to avoid paying for parking at the parks.

This is good information. I'll be doing this same trip on the 29th. Park close is 9pm and we have an 8:20 reservation at Fulton's Crab House. Do you think being at the bus stop at Animal Kingdom by 7:30 would be enough time to catch the Saratoga Springs bus and get to our reservation? Looking at the map of Saratoga Springs Resort, I'm assuming Congress Park is the extreme east end of the resort and we'd come in by Wolfgang Puck's?

ETA: The OLP WDW Transportation Wizard shows it being a 20 min bus ride from Animal Kingdom to Saratoga Springs. I'm thinking if I leave over an hour before park close, the bus stops outside the park won't be so packed and 45 minutes should give us enough time to get to Fultons.

They were trying out a direct bus in the afternoons for awhile, but it didn't stay.

A year or so ago, Disney actually had a trial of direct AK to Springs (then DTD) busses.
I guess that was testing the feasibility of parking at AK for all day fun.

Depending on the lines at the bus stops for each resort, you can pretty much get on any resort bus and then get the bus to DTD from that resort.
