Hey all,

2 weeks til my honeymoon!

So I'm trying to figure out some travelling logistics and looking for the easiest way to get to and from a couple places. We will not have a car.

So..

1. What is the best way to get to the Fantasia Gardens from DHS? We're looking at spending an afternoon break there.

2. Where do the Ft. Wilderness busses stop? We have a carriage ride scheduled there that says it starts in the settlement area. Do the busses from the parks stop there? If not, what's the best way to get there from the parks?

Thanks!

1. Boat or walk from DHS to Swan.

2a. If you mean from the parks, they stop at the main guest parking lot area.
Then, you'd take an "Internal Bus" to all other points, like Settlement area.
2b. No.
2c. Take a boat from in front of MK to Ft. Wilderness. (Boat docks at Settlement area.)

Thanks for the maps!

It looks like carriage night is going to be the same as DHS day as well, so does that mean we need to somehow get from DHS to MK? Or can we transfer to the internal bus system at FW from the main lot?

It looks like carriage night is going to be the same as DHS day as well, so

1- does that mean we need to somehow get from DHS to MK? Or

2- can we transfer to the internal bus system at FW from the main lot?

1- There is "direct" transportation between all of the parks.
(See expanded info below.)
But, you might want to take the bus from DHS to the Contemporary Resort or the Wilderness Lodge. There are direct boats that run to Ft. Wilderness from the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge.

2- You absolutely can, if you'd like.
The buses run constantly within Ft. W.

----------------------

There is "direct" transportation between all the WDW theme parks.

Most routes are via Disney Buses.

Here are the "park-to-park" Disney Transportation direct connections:

>Note: The MK bus connections arrive and depart only at TTC.<

MK/TTC> Epcot = Monorail
MK/TTC> DHS = Bus
MK/TTC> AK= Bus

AK> DHS= Direct Bus
AK> Epcot= Direct Bus
AK> TTC/MK= Bus

DHS> TTC/MK= Bus
DHS> AK= Direct Bus
DHS> Epcot= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)
......Boats ("Friendships") make 3 interim stops at the Epcot area resorts.)

Epcot > TTC/MK= Monorail
Epcot > AK= Direct Bus
Epcot> DHS= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)
......Boats ("Friendships") make 3 interim stops at the Epcot area resorts.)

The buses have their destinations shown on them on illuminated signs.
The bus stops at the parks are also marked with signage.

As a rule-of-thumb, allow 40-60 minutes to get from the gates of one park to the gates of another park.

But, you might want to take the bus from DHS to the Contemporary Resort or the Wilderness Lodge. There are direct boats that run to Ft. Wilderness from the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge.

Taking the bus to WL and the boat from there to FW seems like the most efficient (and scenic!) option, I think we'll run with that.

Thanks for the help! :)

Good choice!
