All of the paperwork says that they cannot guarantee my request of a Queen and Bunk Bed at WL. Any tips on how to make this happen? Call them every week until we arrive, fax, etc? Will anything help or are we at the mercy of the check-in CM?

I don't think there's anything in particular you can do to ensure getting bunks. It is just a request.

I will say that my kids really, really wanted them during our stay there in August of this year. We had reserved standard, and about 6 weeks before I had heard that bunks were no longer available at the standard level. I didn't even bother to make a request/fax/call.

All I did was ask very nicely at check-in, stating that my kids were really hoping for bunks and I promised I would ask. We DID get them, upgraded from standard to courtyard (no charge) and my kids were thrilled.

We had bunkbeds during our recent stay 9/29-10/2, and we did nothing other than request them when we made the reservation and ask again upon check-in. When I asked at check-in, I was told that we already had them. We booked a standard view, and I do not know if we were upgraded. We had Room 6060 and our view was of the service vehicle area, so I doubt that it was a courtyard or woods view. Beyond the service area, however, was a great view of Cinderella's Castle and Wishes. I know others have stated that there are no more bunkbeds in standard view, but it would surprise me if our view was classified as woods view.

Request them and cross your fingers and hope for the best. Here is sending some pixie dust your way in hopes that you will ge the bunk bed.
