How to get an embriodered ear hat for our engagement photos before we get to the park

Hi guys!

My fiance and I are getting our Engagement Photos taken in Epcot in March. I really want to get an picture with us in the distance and the camera zoomed in on a set a Mickey ears with our date embroidered on it. I was wondering if there was a way to order one ahead of time, and if not if there was a place in the parks you can get the personalized ear hats, and it they are done instantly or take a while. We will go to MK the day before and be in Downtown Disney the day before that, so I could only go somewhere within those two parks. Thank you so much!

theoretically the ear hats from the parks are only allowed to have "real" names embroidered on them - if done on property i mean. so this may or may not be something you can get when there? MK and DD disney definitely have places you can get ear hats personalized, typically it doesn't take long, i guess it would depend how many folks were there ahead of you. i *think* personalized hats of some sort can be ordered online - not sure.

you might investigate purchasing a hat online perhaps and seeing if you can get someone on etsy or around your house at an embroidery place to do it? just some thoughts! congrats!

I don't know about ordering ahead of time, but in the Magic Kingdom, last I knew, you could purchase and get embroidered Mickey Ears at The Chapeau shop on Main Street. It's tucked in the corner next to the Main Street Confectionery. They should be able to do your ears right then (especially if you get in there early enough), otherwise you might have to come back for them or wait a bit depending on if there are other people ahead of you wanting their ears to be embroidered.

We had ours dove at a store across from the Christmas store near the bus depot at downtown Disney marketplace. They had ears available or you can bring a set in. We had bought ours at world of Disney and then they just charged us for embroidery. We also did the date. We had to wait about a half hour.
