I called 174 days in advance of our vacation and was really proud of how EARLY I was but then found I coudn't get a table for 11 at LTT, Beirgarten or Primetime. Is there anyway to keep checking on an opening or get on a cancellation list? Thanks.

Not sure about Liberty Tree Tavern but at Biergarten and Prime Time, the tables are not set up for large parties. Call back and ask to have your party split. At the Biergarten, get a table for six and one for five. Ask to have the reservations linked in the system so you'll be next to each other. For Prime Time, do the same thing. The Cast Member should have suggested this but you might not have had a very helpful one. This happened to us at Cape May when we had 11 people. There were only two tables that could handle parties over 4 people and those tables were at the opposite sides of the restaurant. The Cast Member suggested one table for six and one table for four and linked the reservation. Our tables were next to each other with one side being a long bench. We had a split in the middle of our party which was great for getting up and down for the buffet. Also had three tables of five each at LeCellier and ended up getting the tables pushed together for one long one.

disnut8- thanks for the reply. I was told for Biergarten that I needed to have 9 at one table and 2 at another and that they would be placed close togehter. I specifically asked to go with 6 and 5 ( because who would want to be the "2"?? you know?) and was told that if I made 2 reservations that there was no way to link them and the two tables could be anywhere. Do you think I should call back and try again?

The problem with Biergarten seating is that it is banquet style. Every table is filled so if you split 6/5 you would have 3 strangers at the table of six and 4 strangers at the table of 5. I don't see the 9/2 split either. The table of 9 would have no strangers sitting with them but the table of two would have 7 strangers with them.

I would definitely call back for Biergarten and ask for two tables. Both in the same name. One for six and one for five. Yes, there will be others at the tables but that's fine. Just have your entire party with you when you check in and I'm sure they will do their best to get you what you want. Even better idea - stop by there earlier in the day and talk to someone at the podium outside and explain what you want. It's better to speak with the actual restaurant that day than deal with Disney dining over the phone.
