How to Get a Room?

I know I have read a few of you were able to get a room when calling MS even if they say there is no availability for your night. Sometimes you are just missing one night and the CM puts you on hold and "magically" returns with an open room.

Do you ask them to do this? And how would you ask?

We are going on a short weekend trip in 3 weeks and we are currently booked at the Swan $99 rate. I would like to stay at the Swan for friday and saturday (save points) and I was hoping to switch to the BCV for Sunday and monday night in a studio. I had called about availability a couple days ago (before we were sure which dates we would travel) and I think I was told the sunday night was unavailable.

Can I be put on a waitlist so close to our arrival? Thanks for any help!

Yes, you can be put on the waitlist until 7 days before arrival. However, I would request a waitlist for both days, not day by day, in case you get the Sunday, but not Monday. Good luck, $99 at Swan is a great rate also.

Yes, it is a great rate! But we haven't been "home" yet and are not planning on staying at BCV (one of our homes) until dec 04 so we are really hoping to be able to check it out for 2 days on our quickie trip in 3 weeks.

Thanks lat, I will do the waitlist for 2 days. Especially considering I have to borrow points for the 2 nights.

I'll be calling in 14 minutes....will let you know what happens:rolleyes:
