Okay, just got back from WDW yesterday. We were there for 9 days. During this time, DD8 and DD4 got at least 15 sets of Tinkerbell pins, the ones where you get to keep one and give one away. We lost count after 15. This is nice since it gave DDs extra trading pins but also gave them something extra to do as they try to decide which little girls they pass to give the special pins to.
This is my unscientific observation on how to get tons of these Tinkerbell pin sets -
1) Get a little girl, like DD4.
2) Give her a pin lanyard.
3) Load it up with Tinkerbell pins.
4) And have her seek out other Tinkerbell pins from CMs.
5) When CMs do not have a Tink pin on his/her lanyard, from my observation, at least one time out of 3 or 4, the CM will pull out this special dream Tink pin packet and give it to DD4.
We did not do this on purpose. But this was what happened to us (DD4 wanted to collect Tink pins to start with) by accident and I think it helped
