how to get a le cellier reservation

Just keep trying, and call back every day. You have until August, so your chances are probably pretty good that something will open up.

I was able to reserve a late lunch for the last week of August just a week or so ago. We find lunch at Le Cellier to be very good when we can't get a dinner ressie. We try to eat there at least once a trip. Although DD is talking about not eating there on our December trip because they took the barbecue filet off the menu. She's not sure about doing the mushroom filet with no mushrooms and substituting the potato for the risotto!

I need to cancel a reservation for Le Cellier for Sat. 9/13 @ 6:20pm for
7 persons. Any DISers interested?

I just booked a lunch at Le Cellier on 9/1 with no problem so I'm guessing they'll have lunches open during your date.

If I were you, I'd book the latest available lunch time. I looked at the lunch menu and it seems many of the items from dinner are available at lunch too for a few dollars less, so I assume they'll be a little bit smaller. (That's no problem for us as we're always pretty stuffed after any DDP meal at Disney.) Still seems like a good use of a credit to me.

pixiedust: Here's some pixie dust for luck because I know how hard this is! I tried to get a LeCellier dinner ADR on our last 2 trips but I had no luck. So this time I called at 7am on the 180 day mark and I was finally able to get it. We usually eat around 6 or 6:30 but I had to take 7:45 - even at 180 days at 7 am it was either that or 4:40, if I remember correctly. I think I'll be happy with the 7:45 time, though, because I'm hoping will be getting out just as Illuminations is starting!
But don't give up - people cancel all the time - especially when it gets closer to travel time - good luck!

I called this morning and was able to get dinner ressie for 9/2...keep trying, I'm sure something will open!

My suggestion would be to keep calling right up until the day you want to eat there. People cancel and change ADRs all the time. If your heart is set on eating there, just keep calling back:goodvibes

I may cancel our dinner ressie for le cellier during that time frame. Any way to transfer it to you???

I made my mid-Oct adr's this a.m. Le Cellier was booked solid, the CM told me, she only had one 2:40 slot open, I took chefs de france instead....

I got CRT, PSB, & every other ADR I wanted w/ no problem!

Many people make dining reservations months in advance and then change their minds as it gets closer. I just bought my plane ticket in February - so I've been booking dining only 2 months in advance. I wanted breakfast at Tusker House for my birthday on April 22, and nothing wss available the half dozen times I called - UNTIL last Sunday - April 6. I got a table!

By the way - I got Le Cellier for lunch on April 18.

I feel fortunate that we got a lunch ressies mid August for Le Cellier and I was a few days into my 180. I got the time I wanted too.

But people DO cancel so I would keep trying!

I don't know. Anybody else know this?

I saw on another thread..

All that is require to do a transfer/trade is two willing parties, the phone# name and party size for the person who is wanting the ressie to be provided to the owner of the original ressie...original owner calls and switches ressie over

Good Luck

WE couldnt get a dinner ressie, so we are going to do lunch. I have never been there, so lunch will be fine with me. Maybe do lunch instead?

So what I am hearing is tht I should call at 7:00 AM, 180 days before to get a reservation. I am going the Saturday before Thanksgiving until the day after. I was thinking of doing Le Cellier on Sunday. I am hoping that the crowd won't be too bad until Wednesday or Thursdy.

i've been calling every other day since last week and i still could not get a ressie for dinner for our upcoming trip (aug 27-sep2)...hopefully i'll get some pixie dust soon...we had dinner there twice and was not able to go last year since it was under renovation...:sad2: so i was hoping that we could go again...

I am going mid October too. My 180 day mark is Monday.
Did they let you book CRT in advance. In other words, my CRT day will be a couple of days into my trip but can I still book it on my 180 day? Or does that HAVE to be on 180? I can't remember. We are going with friends on this trip and they have never been so CRT is an important one for me as well as Le Cellier. I am going to call at 7 AM Monday and hope to get them both!

I believe it is 180 day mark + 10 days there after if you are staying in a Disney resort, the CM did ask me where I was staying.

In my case, we're staying @ the CR & our CRT ressie is for the 2nd day of our trip (the 2nd ressie I made, I did not blurt out I needed Cindys, but I booked lunch not breakfast, I got the exact time we wanted).

Le Cellier was for our 3rd day so I wasnt too far into the call (I called @ 7am & was my CMs 1st call of the day), LeCellier was booked solid for dinner, she had a 2:40 lunch only, she gave me the impression this was very difficult to get. Must be all the hype on the disboards;)

Best of luck to you!
