how to get a le cellier reservation

Many people make dining reservations months in advance and then change their minds as it gets closer. I just bought my plane ticket in February - so I've been booking dining only 2 months in advance. I wanted breakfast at Tusker House for my birthday on April 22, and nothing wss available the half dozen times I called - UNTIL last Sunday - April 6. I got a table!

By the way - I got Le Cellier for lunch on April 18.

Happy Birthday! That is my b-day too!!!:cool1:

I believe it is 180 day mark + 10 days there after if you are staying in a Disney resort, the CM did ask me where I was staying.

In my case, we're staying @ the CR & our CRT ressie is for the 2nd day of our trip (the 2nd ressie I made, I did not blurt out I needed Cindys, but I booked lunch not breakfast, I got the exact time we wanted).

Le Cellier was for our 3rd day so I wasnt too far into the call (I called @ 7am & was my CMs 1st call of the day), LeCellier was booked solid for dinner, she had a 2:40 lunch only, she gave me the impression this was very difficult to get. Must be all the hype on the disboards;)

Best of luck to you!

Yes, we are staying at a Disney resort.
I was hoping to get Le Cellier dinner and CRT breakfast. We will see what happens. My MK days will be third and fourth days into the trip. My Epcot days will be second and fifth days in. So I will have the extra days before 180. I hope that may help. I am nervous now.
Thanks!

:rotfl: Yes, I had planned to do that. I figured I would blurt out Cindy's first because for us it is breakfast there or nothing. We didn't care for the lunch or dinner as much as the breakfast. If we can't get breakfast we are going for LTT dinner. However, Le Cellier we prefer dinner but are happy with lunch if that is available.

Thanks! I will be calling at 7 AM Monday!

I have a LeCell ressie for 6 on 8/28 @ 1:30pm I need to cancel. Anyone wish to take it?

If Le Cellier works the same as the R&C, then on EMH nights, the last reservations will be for about 1-2 hours before the restaurant actually closes. So this means that if you head for Le Cellier around 9pm there may be a chance of you getting a table as a walk in.

At the R&C our last res time was 8pm, but we took walk ins up until 9 if we had space available, and on EMH we took walk ins until 10pm, and after the fireworks the restaurant was usually pretty quiet and walk ins of all sizes were available!!

Mhmcduff,
We loved the steaks at LeCellier. They were very tender and cooked just as we ordered them. Our best meal of the trip was also steak and that was from Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge. We ate there as a last minute reservation change. On our last night we had reserved Boma but decided a sit down dinner for the end of a great trip would be more relaxing. We made the right decision! The service was top notch and the food was to die for. The dessert for the kids was a white chocolate puzzle, cookies and edible paint that they will never forget. The food was perfect and the drinks were yummy too :rotfl2: . I highly recommend Artist Point. I don't hear much talk about it but we LOVED it!

Be persistent!!! I just got reservations for September 12 and we just booked our package on Sunday.:cheer2:

I got one by calling at 178 days out from our trip. Actually I got everyone of my desired ADR's for all of our 9 days and on precisely the date and time I wanted each of them. LeCellier, CRT...etc. some pretty hard ones to get. I was thrilled - we go in October.

i have 3 dinner ressies there next trip...i am thinking of canceling one of them..i think 3 times eating there in 10 days is a bit much. but i think i willhold out a little longer good luck ppl do cancel
