We will be in WDW in Dec with another family and part of a Grand Gathering. We are planning a lunch or dinner at Coral Reef. The children range from 10-15 tears old. I think they would love something like this, but we are celebrating our birthdays or such. We are celebrating the birth of Jesus (yes the Candlelight Processional is in our plans). Has anyone ever had something celebrated besides a birthday or anniversary? Looking for ideas to make the time special. (this is our 5th trip and the other family's 2nd) Thanks you for any ideas. I am celebrating my college graduation when we are there in May. We arrive the day after my graduation so that is def. something to celebrate. I will be doing the Dolphins in Depth as a part of my college grad present/bday present. We will also be there for mothers day so we will be celebrating that too. We are surprising my mom with a spa package at GF, dinner at Liberty Tree, and a special $12 cake in the room from Whispering Canyon (we're on the ddp so we dont need the extra sweets!) I am also doing a divers sign for my parents for their anniversary which is in june and i'm doing the menus as gifts for mothers day/fathers day. I hope this helps. I hear the fireworks cruises are really nice except i called after the 90 days that it starts for ressies and they are all booked but i hear they are wonderful to do! Good luck!!

This is such a great idea. Congrats on your graduation...How exciting.

Our trip is based around my sons birthday, my daughters birthday and our anniversary... My sons b'day is May 10th, my dd is June 14th, and our Anniv. is May 19th.
I was thinking of telling CP that it was their b'day on the first night we arrive. but wasn't sure if they would do anything...and I am not sure if my 2 other children would be upset. Although I said we will come back next Oct.2008 for the other 2 children b'day.
So, I think this will be a fun things for all of us...if I hear back from them!

Oh I finally got in touch with Miss Debbie and her wonderful reputation is well deserved. She was super and got me all hooked up with a two sided diver sign. Now I can hardly wait to go and our trip is not until may.

It doesn't have to be just for birthdays/special occasions. I spoke with Meredith today (she was returning my call from earlier in the week) and we are simply having "Hello XXXXX Family". (Names were withheld to protect the innocent. )

In most cases they try to seat you right next to the tank, but a lot depends on the size of your party.

She also mentioned that the diver is really good about hanging around for a few minutes while holding the sign for those Kodak moments.

I am getting a little bit concerned. I called the main CR number and talked to a man who took down all of the information, or so he said. No one offered or suggested that I talked to either of these women. Maybe I will call back and check....
