I went to the Universal Studios website and only saw the ability to buy single day and 4- or 5-day passes, but have seen that 2-day are available. How do I get them ahead of time?

I was thinking that with a 2-day we could hop between parks (US/IOA) in one day then save the other day for the next time we go...is that true and how do I verify it?

I usually buy mine either through AAA or thru www.ticketmania.com and they are both great.

AAA is offering "3rd day free" tickets right now too.

Yes, you can certainly use only one day and then save the other day for another trip.

It may be tough, though, seeing everything in both parks in one day especially if you've never been before. It is doable but will take good planning.

In December, Suess Landing is transformed into Whoville with snow and the Grinch's Lair and a Whoviller show too!

Yeah, our plan would not be to see everything in both parks. The deal is that 3 out of my 4 kids are NOT thrill riders, but there are things at IOA they'd like to see and things at US to see...I'm still indecisive on this, but have been reading all the posts.

Be careful on the buy 2 get the 3rd day free tickets. I believe these tickets expire 1 week after your 1st use of the ticket. If you use your ticket on Monday the ticket will expire the following Monday whether you've used all your days or not. You will want to buy a 2-day 2 park pass, or a 3-day 2 park pass. I would suggest getting the 3-day 2 park pass. The difference in price is only $10 to $15.
Have a great time!

I just bought our Universal tix via their website. A 5-day (unlimited entrance to both parks, City Walk, and includes Universal Express) pass was cheaper than the 2-day pass. These are only available through their website. Only thing is that the 5 days are consecutive -- the clock starts ticking the first time you use it. Perfect for us though as we'll only be in Orlando 7 days so if we at least go twice then we will've gotten good use out of it! Hope this helps!
