How to find the best realtor in your area??

Yeah!! My daughter just found out yesterday she is getting to transfer back home with her company. She bought a house 2 years ago when she moved and now will need to try and sell it ASAP!! She used one of the larger firms in the are she moved to 2 years ago to buy her current house, but did not care for the realtor and does not want to use them again. We were just wondering if there is a website or some way to find out out would be the best company to list her house with. Any suggestions other than checking with coworkers as she has already done that?

We just set up interviews with various realtors and chose that way. Anyone that came in there trashing other companies was immediately put on the "no" list.

I would suggest not discounting any company, instead do interviews. Esp. the bigger realty company as they will have a larger list of clients to sell to.

I have not sold a house before but my best friend interviewed two different realtors, both recommendations.

I'd ask around for recommendations and then have a few different realtors come in and do an interview, walk the house etc. Talk with them about how aggressive she needs to be and make sure she picks one that feels the same!!
