How to Enter Codes?

We're considering a trip beginning of Dec. I found some codes on mousesavers for that time. BUT HOW do you put them in to check the rates? I like to check a couple resorts this way and which codes get me the best prices, etc. I know Universal allows this at least with some codes, such as annual pass, etc. Can you put them in yourself or do you have to call? I went to Walt Disney World official site, or I thought it was, to try this and see no place to put them in. Thanks for any info.

The codes are "built in" to the "Specials" section of the WDW website - for example, on the home page I don't use the "Quote Your Trip" but go to the "Tickets and Reservations" up toward the top on the right side. There are other ways to get to the offers (like right now, one offer is on the very bottom on the right side), but I like this way just because it lists all of them at once.

I click on that and then on the next page that comes up (Book Your Vacation at the top) I click on "Special Offers" on the left side and it brings up all the offers. Then click on the deal I'm interested in and go from there by using the "Get Started" button down in the offer details (important to do this to get the code built in! DON'T use the "Book Your Stay" on the left side) - also you have to remember that just because they have "5night/6day" or "value" resorts listed in the offer details you can go ahead and put the days/resort type you're looking for to get the special. Disney makes it so confusing by making it seem like that is the only stay/resort!

After you click on the Get Started button, it will bring up a page that shows what you have chosen - for example, just going in now and choosing the first special shown it comes up:

and then has the dates, etc. to input and you go from there. Don't pay attention to the "Rooms from $xxx to $xxx" on the resorts listed - these are not the prices that come up when you continue. When you choose your resort, it will come up the deal info again, like this for the one I selected: Special Rate Type : Oct. to Dec. Magic Your Way Package Offer
so you know you are getting the "code" prices.

You have to "edit" from there by changing anything that is automatically added that you might not want....

Or you can just call WDW too!

After you have poked around the WDW website enough you will learn all the "stupid guest tricks" they use, and just bull your way through!
