I was just wondering - we are cruising from December 21-24. What type of outfit for dinners? Pants and long sleeves, pants and short sleeves, summer dress, winter dress? Black shoes, white shoes? I'm just not sure about the weather and the type of dress and I don't want to look out of place. Thanks.

And my motto is as soon as you are on that ship it is summer no matter what month it is! I wear sundresses etc. I think you would be hot in long sleaves and long pants. The most important thing is to wear what YOU feel comfortable in!

It is freezing in Orlando right now. 50's. and going down. Dont forget the ship is heading to the tropics. There is a big difference between Orlando weather and Miami weather. I would just bring a few cool weather things and mostly summer clothes. I expect it to be HOT! Wait, I heard last night there is a hurricane brewing in the tropics, even though we are past hurricane season. Could the person that told me be jelous and pulling my leg? I will have to turn the weather channel on and find out.

FREEZING AT 50?? As I sit here with snow blowing and temps in the low 20's in NJ I would give anything to be in the 50's...LOL. But I do understand that is cold for FL. Just kidding with you. Enjoy what sun you night have!;) Sorry cant help with Cruise temps.

Peterpan~ dress like you would in warmer temps, although it is pretty cool inside on the ship (from the a/c) so I would take a sweater/jacket in case...like at dinner time. The passporter claims that December temps in the Caribbean is 64 as a low, and 79 as the high.... Thats pretty good weather, considering what we have here in Pittsburgh... Its been in the 20's , cold, windy and blowing snow! and that is after our little (what they called a snowstorm, lol).
Waves hi to disneymommie- guess we are all having the same weather neighbor! Even thou I am on the western side of Pa...its still cold here too! I like the snow and 32 degrees, its the freezing temps and wind I don't care for. Cant have it all, I guess.
Arlene~ 50 is NICE to me!!LOL I dont mind the cold, its the wind Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr ...::yes:: And, yes you do need to turn on the weather channel-there is some type of storm brewing , they werent lying! ;) LOL
Have a nice day today everyone!

It actually got down into the low 40's last night. My daughter was in her winter coat and hat last night shivering on the way to the car to see christmas lights.
