How to do Signature dining on regular DDP?

I really want to try Yachtsman's Steakhouse. If I have the regular DDP, can I just skip a 1 credit TS one day and use 2 credits the next night?
For example, there are 3 of us. Me, DH and DS8. We are staying 6 days/5 nights. If I get the regular DDP, we get 5 TS and 5 CS. If we eat 3 TS, can I use the remaining 2 credits for Yachtsmans? Would we still get an appetizer?

You can do that, in fact that is what we did on our most recent trip this past October when we wanted to dine at Yachtsman as well. Just note that you do not get an appetizer on the regular DP. You'll get your choice of any entree, dessert and soft drink. For what it's worth, we all really liked our meal there...the steaks were very good and we found it to be a very relaxing dinner.
