How to describe a sunrise?

Because I was trying to do something quick? Yes I did do research, but I was asking the opinions of other people. Btw, this is for vacation bible school as I am not getting paid and just wanted a little insight in modifying the "curriculum" to give the kids an example.

It does seem bit like cheating. Instead do a mock diary journal of something you have done or seen. If your students posted on the internet the assignement it would be cheating right? Hold yourself to the same standards.

I came back to see what the Op decided upon and felt bad I didn't say thank you~

So Op, what did you go with??

aww, it's ok.

Now I also want to know how it went. I like when people come back and tell us "the end of the story". sort of speak.

I know!!!!

We could always post pics of a sunrise?

For me the sunrise is like a "renewing" of the senses. It feels like starting over.

I like the quiet stillness of a sunrise, the way the world goes from pale gray to colors starting with orange and then building layer by layer until the world is awake. I'm almost never up for it and when I am I'm usually busy which means the stolen moments to admire it are a treat.

Wow, EXCELLENT lovsorlando!

That would be the perfect ending for a diary ending!!!

It might start something like this.

The dark, quiet, stillness is so deep, it seems endless...
The cacophony of the night-time, and the songs of all the insects, have long since abated.... Time stands still.
But, somewhere, somehow, the faintest stirrings begin.

etc...

agreed, however to me it is a sense of "yay, I get another day"
I get another day, I get to do this again, I get another chance to be in awe.

Again, agreed, just different perspective I guess.....
