how to defrost bacon?

decided at the last minute to make breakfast for dinner tonight...eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, that kind of thing. the bacon was in the freezer, though. how do I defrost it?

In water would be the quickest way I think. Because bacon cooks so fast, the microwave defrost is probably not an option.

I Usually defrost it in the microwave...probably not the best idea but it does work for me. I do it for about 3 minutes....then check it and usually have to do it for a few more but contantly checking it to make sure its not cooking in the package which I never had that happen.
